After completing an MA in Economics at McMaster University, Terry built a farm business training competitive carriage driving horses and beginner show jumpers. His business included designing and manufacturing horse drawn vehicles and restoring antique carriages; running equestrian clinics; and private coaching. In addition, he used his skills in blacksmithing and wheelwrighting to create unique anthropomorphic sculptures from “found” objects among his discarded farm equipment parts.
Now living in Prince Edward County, Ontario Canada. Terry focuses his creativity on painting and printmaking. His current practice centres on expressive portraiture, rural landscapes and more recently, normative still lives.
His art has been shown at Blizzmax Gallery, Art in the County – juried show, Artistic Inklings, The County Museums, and Parrott Gallery/Belleville Ontario.
